The Dragonfly sled is an evolution from a hybrid sled designed and manufactured for the feature film 1917. Primarily designed to solve difficulties with shooting in the narrow trenches at high speed and integration with camera and stabilised heads. Over 3 years we refined and developed this versatile system into the production model currently available.
Total sled length ranging from 61-120cm [2ft-4ft]. The ability to swing 4 batteries below the lower junction box of the sled & extend the three stages fully allows extreme low/high mode capabilities while maintaining full rigidity.
The distribution of mass, particularly in three stages of aluminium post and coplanar monitor/battery positions, means obtaining a dynamic balance is very simple. When fully compact the Dragonfly is short, rigid and nimble.
The Dragonfly is available as part of a super bundle including a Hard Case, OS Docking Bracket, Camera plates and a cable package.
